4-H Network News Thank You Sanyo Energy USA For Eneloop Gift
powered by ODEO
149 million tons of batteries are disposed every year in the US! GE/Sanyo introduces the next evolution in batteries, the non-disposable battery- eneloop.
Think Recharge, RE-Use, Recycle.
This is the battery for the 21st century.
Eneloop combines all the necessary features of an alkaline battery with the benefits of a rechargeable. There is no need to fully discharge eneloops before recharging. There is no memory effect.
Eneloop is ideal for use with wireless video game controllers, digital cameras, portable video games players and MP3 players.
Sanyo Energy is the #1 manufacturer of rechargeable batteries in the world. 90% of their business is OEM manufacturing.
4-H Network News thanks Sanyo Energy, USA for their generous contribution of eneloop batteries to our club.
Batteries are always needed to keep our activities moving forward and the fact that eneloops are rechargeable helps get the message across to us kids about using the most effective equipment with the least negative environmental impact.
This is Claire Turner with 4-H Network News from the Washington State University Learning Center North Olympic Peninsula.

"Use eneloop Batteries In Your Wireless Controllers. Play longer. Save The Planet. - Nikki Inderlied, Entertainment Journalist"
eneloop lasts longer
eneloop lasts longer in comparison with dry cell batteries Key advantages of Ni-MH batteries are still inherent in eneloop for example, superior performance in digital cameras (four times more shots than with alkalines) and the excellent stability even at low temperatures, for example while skiing.

And eneloop can be charged with virtually all modern chargers for Ni-MH batteries.
Sanyo Energy (USA) Corporation is the rechargeable-systems industry leader in a world where portable phones, computers and power tools demand smaller, lighter and more robust power. Sanyo's vast research and development resources help create and improve battery technology for today's power-hungry products and include Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Lithium Ion (Li-ion), Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium batteries, fast-charge control chips and modules and amorphous solar cells.

Circuit City Customer Feedback Forum Reviewer: scabbard from huntington, wv on Wed Feb 14 05:05:32 EST 2007 I use these batteries for video game controllers because of the ability to maintain charge. Given the sporadic use, NiMh batteries would not be viable as they lose charge quickly. Highly recommend these. Even bought 8 for my brother.
